Goodnight, Mom Mail Club for new moms.

Mail Club for New Moms Who Need to Hear

“It will all be okay”

This is for you if you spend each night with broken sleep, a baby (or child) in your arms, and the sinking feeling that motherhood is harder than you expected.

I see you. I've been in your shoes. And I want you to know things will get better.

Goodnight, Mom Mail Club crafted by a postpartum doula.

Real Letters from a

Real Postpartum Doula

The Goodnight, Mom Mail Club offers support and community, even if I can't come visit you in person.

This is more than just a fun letter in the mail. Every month you receive connection, encouragement, and physical reminders that you are enough. By taking the time to slow down and disconnect from the internet- even just for a bit!- your parenthood journey will start to feel better.

You can spend the time searching the internet again and continue trying to figure out parenting alone,

or the Goodnight, Mom Mail Club can help you feel more connected, empowered, and calm as a parent.

Jenna Cole, at 2 weeks postpartum, holding her newborn baby.

When my daughter was born, I thought I had it all figured out. I was a doula after all, so

how hard could it be?

But caring for your own baby, living in that state of survival and perceived isolation, takes its toll.

When I started connecting with other moms and hearing words of affirmation and encouragement, I took to heart that I wasn't alone. It helped me calm my thoughts that each phase was never-ending and that my baby would never sleep, and helped me appreciate (a little more) the quiet wee hours of the day with my baby.

As a postpartum doula, I often see people holding onto the belief that they are alone and have to figure out this new life with baby on their own. We talk about the phrase "it takes a village to raise a child," but we don't have systems in place to foster those villages.

As we practice connecting with others, building new friendships, speaking up about how we are truly feeling, and recognizing that something has to change, our souls feel lighter, our days less stressful, and the disrupted sleep a little easier to handle.
