The Recovering Perfectionist’s Guide to Newborn Care is for soon-to-be parents looking to have a calm and confident start to parenthood, WITHOUT getting overwhelmed.
You’re excited to be growing your family, but…

…You’re UNSURE about what to expect after birth;
…And you’re CONFLICTED, hearing everyone say something different about what you should (or shouldn’t) be doing.

“Am I really able to do this?”
“How can I manage my life PLUS a baby?”
“I want to get this right, but I’m not sure how.”

There’s an easier way to enter parenthood confident, not overwhelmed.

Time for some real talk:
As someone who has worked with new families for over a decade, I just have to say...
In the age of short-form media, AI, and low-cost short birth classes at hospitals, it's easy to feel like parenting "won't be that hard," or that you've seen enough tips that you'll "probably" be okay.
But take it from me, who - even as a birth professional - was quickly humbled by the beast that is raising a child. Caring for your baby, and adapting your couple to a trio - as special and transformational as it all is - taxes even the strongest of couples.
You have two choices:
Choice #1: Keep wasting time and effort on "trying to figure it out on your own."
or
Choice #2: Spend some time with your partner and learn the steps that have worked for dozens of families...
and feel confident about this next stage of your life.by the time you're in labor, you can have an intentional plan, prepared home, & strong support systemBut more importantly, you’ll be confident that you can be a good enough parent.
Here's what being a good enough parent looks like:
Practical & practiced skills to care for your baby.
Giving yourself permission to take care of yourself.
Setting realistic expectations and goals for your parenthood journey.
The confidence knowing you can handle whatever comes your way
MEET YOUR instructor I AM a parent TOO
I had cared for babies for years. I had read plenty of child development books. My husband and I watched a free online birth class together.
How hard could it be?
Fast forward to me in 2022 on the living room floor: crying, holding my baby (also crying), trying to use my flimsy wearable pumps because I couldn't figure out why she wouldn't breastfeed.
I was OVERWHELMED, EXHAUSTED, & OVERSTIMULATED.
Here I was, a professional in the parenting field, and I couldn't handle my own baby.
I felt so alone.
That is why I created this course. Because caring for babies once in a while is one thing. Reading parenting books helps. But I knew expecting parents not only need information about how to change diapers or prepare bottles... they need information about how to care for themselves and create systems so everyone in the family feels as regulated and cared for as possible.
A lot has changed since then.
Now I have a better understanding of my own neurodivergence and high sensitivity. I also have a better understanding of my daughter's neurodivergence and high sensitivity. Raising her is more enjoyable now because both of our needs are being met and I have let go of pressure to raise her in ways that don't actually work for us.
But I will never forget the days we both spent crying in that first year, trying to figure it out alone.
Since that day in 2022, I've developed a comprehensive method to prepare for parenthood with confidence, not perfection, and it's available to you NOW.In this course,
you will learn:
How to care for your baby, and yourself, in a way that feels authentic to you.

I know you've been telling yourself, "I just need to do this or buy that and I'll be the perfect parent."

FAQs
When can I start?
1
Right away! As soon as you enroll, you'll have access to your learning portal so you can dive right into the course content.
How long do I have access?
2
As long as you need! You'll have lifetime access to the course, so you can learn at your own pace, come back to lessons as needed, and even get a refresher before your next baby is born. (Note: Keep in mind, this is lifetime access for the lifetime of the course, not your life)
What if I have questions?
3
If any questions arise, you can reach me via email and I will get back to you within 24 hours. If the answer is outside of my scope, I'll send some recommendations of additional professionals who may be able to help!
When during pregnancy should I take this course?
4
I say, as an over-planner, the sooner the better. The topics will probably feel more relatable and tasks more doable around the second and third trimester, but enrolling earlier gives you more time to think and take action. My recommendation is to enroll now, even if you aren't yet pregnant, so you have plenty of time to absorb all the lessons.
Is your course considerate of neurodiversity?
5
You bet! I do my best to present lessons in ways that are comfortable for everyone. Video lessons have optional captions and adjustable playback speeds. I include visual demonstrations where applicable, and I discuss sensory components of different things (like breastfeeding), including how to meet your own sensory needs as well. Lessons are kept short and organized to reduce overwhelm.
That being said, the course does present a lot of information, which is likely new to you, and may bring up feelings of being overwhelmed. I encourage you to take breaks as needed and focus on the information that feels relevant to you at the time. Everything will still be there when you're ready to come back!
If there are modifications I'm able to make that would make a more comfortable learning experience for you, please email me and let me know.
Do you use AI in your course?
6
I avoid AI as much as I possibly can. The information you're getting, and support you're receiving, is all from me- and my decade's worth of education and experience. The only time I intentionally use AI is to caption my videos (and believe me- I looked into doing it myself!).
Will this work for me if I’m not birthing my baby?
7
Yes! While the course covers postpartum recovery after birth, most of the content will be relevant for all families- no matter who birthed the baby. The course material will show you how to consider your unique family’s expectations and goals for life with baby.
Will this work for me if I want to breastfeed but offer bottles too?
8
Yes! The bonus course, How to Feed Your Baby Without Losing Your Mind, covers all elements of baby feeding: hunger cues, how much to feed, all about breastfeeding, all about bottle feeding, all about pumping, and even how to start solid foods when your baby is older.
My favorite part of the course covers how to COMBINATION feed, combining elements of breastfeeding and bottle feeding, to create a feeding system that works best for your family. However you want to feed your baby, you’ll learn it here!
