You're having a baby! Yay! But you're also kind of freaking out!...
I'm Jenna, and I'm here to help you prepare for parenthood with confidence, not perfection. As a perfectionist myself, I know that perfectionism is more than wanting things to be "right." It cuts deeper into doubting yourself, paralyzing your decision-making, and preventing you from taking any action.
Now you add a life transformation, like preparing for a baby, to the mix, and your mind just goes haywire. "What is the best type of crib?" "Wait, some people don't use cribs?" "How will I get any sleep?" It's All. Too. Much.
I bet you’ve been trying to create the perfect plan for your baby: clothes, bottles, nursery decor, etc. I was the same way!
But as someone who is on the other side of it now, and who has helped countless families through pregnancy and the early years of parenting... babies don't always stick to your carefully thought out plan. It's easy to focus on the physical things, like the nursery set up and which diapers to buy, but expecting parents frequently think ahead to their birth, and figure the rest will work itself out. So sure, you can scour Pinterest for beautiful nurseries and what to pack in your hospital bag, hoping the rest will come to you naturally, or you can create a support team that will help you not only truly prepare for parenthood, but to thrive with your new baby.
My course, The Recovering Perfectionist's Guide to Newborn Care has been lovingly created to help you sort through all the information out there, and to prepare for life with baby in a way that makes sense for your unique situation. I have used my education and experience from the past 13+ years to present information in an organized way that will walk you through the steps to have a calm & confident start to parenthood.
